Ground-truthed.id (“GTID”) is a hybrid application platform, website, and Android-based operating system, that helps users in documenting ground-based evidence and its process into a coherent process and advocacy. It showcases ground-based environmental-related cases throughout Indonesia.

Both website and Android applications share common features. On the other hand, the Android application is more versatile and gives more flexibility to users to get the most out of it, among other things, the capability to fill and save documentation when users are offline (no internet access). The filled data is sent automatically to our server once users have one.

Reporter ID (“ID”) is the user’s unique identification number as a safety measure to protect the user’s identity in the public domain, especially in Ground-truthed.id (GTID) platform. This ID is also our central information in the communication process.

GTID is not responsible nor be sued and/or blamed for those users who have revealed their ID under their conscious.

Ground-truthed.id, both website and Android-based operating system are free of charge. Users can have unlimited access to the platform once registered.

Yes, the user’s access can be revoked if the users breach one of our codes of conduct (CoC) as our central provisions in using the platform. Please refer to Documentation to see our CoC.

APK will be available on our website, which is hosted on our secure server.

The link will be updated once the final version is available. We encourage users to download the APK directly from our server. Hence we can guarantee on security aspect and originality.

As its foundation is to serve as a supporting tool in environmental protection through documentation and advocacy, Ground-truthed.id is open access to everyone basically for everyone and anywhere on this earth, this includes law enforcement agencies, government bodies, business entities, etc.

The registration process is mandatory for every user before having full access to the application. The registration form (“form”) is provided on both the website and Android which is available through an intuitive button. A follow-up instruction will be provided once the form is submitted into the system. Once granted, users have a full access to our platform for a lifetime.

In Ground-truthed.id we employ a tier access into several categories: Contributor, Viewer, Editor, and Admin.

Each level has its distinguished capability. The designated level of each user is solely the discrece of Kaoem Telapak.

A confidential and personal identity is our core value, therefore, every aspect of confidentiality and personal identity in Ground-truthed.id, we handle it with care. This includes naming someone or a business entity who allegedly committed a violation and/or crime. The precautionary measure was applied in this event.

For convenience, any confidential information and personal identity can be put in Confidential Information field as provided. The system will automatically handle it with a defined query. In some scenarios, a piece of confidential information and personal identity can be shared with relevant law enforcement agencies and/or government bodies upon clarification and written consent from the user.
